Nature Recovery Strategy Survey

Message from Cornwall AONB

Our partners, Cornwall Council, are currently creating a new Local Nature Recovery Strategy for the region alongside the Local Nature Partnership and the Council of the Isles of Scilly.

Why is that important for the protected landscape? Cornwall AONB makes up 1/3 of the county and is designated for its natural beauty, landscape and scenic quality, cultural and natural heritage, tranquility and relative wildness and the incredible nature that it supports.

Nature across Cornwall, including the protected landscape, is in decline. This strategy will be pivotal in helping to recover and grow nature across the region. When finished, it will guide WHAT, WHERE, and HOW to restore nature across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

They would like as many people as possible to have a role in helping shape the strategy. Please have a go at completing the survey before 22 November, 2023.
