Devoran Community Library
Located in the entrance way to the Parish Council Office in Market Street in Devoran, we have approximately 250 books of varying genres - you just need to be a member of the Cornwall Council library to borrow books, or if you are not you can join the Cornwall Library online at the Community Library using the touch screen tablet.
The library new opening hours are:-
Mondays to Fridays - 9am to 12 noon
We have had to put various measures in place to ensure the library is 'Covid safe' please help us by adhering to these.
To adhere to social distancing only one household/bubble will be allowed in the library area at a time.
At the present time there are no deliveries from the Cornwall Council mobile library van and therefore you cannot unfortunately order books online for delivery to the Devoran library.
You can still choose from the selection of books already on the shelves and we would ask that any books that you pick up to browse or are returning after being borrowed are placed in the ‘quarantine’ box, they will be returned to the shelves after 72 hours to ensure any virus on them is no longer present.
The coffee machine has also been removed and we would ask that all visitors to the library use the hand sanitiser provided, surface wipes will also be available to wipe down books.
Thank you for your co-operation.
If you have any queries about the library please contact Debra Roberts, Parish Clerk, Feock Parish Council, tel: 01872 863333 or email
Home Library Service
If you can’t get to us, the Home Library Service can bring the library to you – free! It is for anyone who is unable to use the library because they have a disability, long-term illness or caring responsibilities which make it difficult for them to get out. Please contact Truro Library for more information or visit http://www.cornwall.gov.uk/leisure-and-culture/libraries/your-local-library/home-library-services/
