Projects

Feock Neighbourhood Development Plan 

 

The Feock Neighbourhood Development Plan was created by local residents, community groups, businesses and the Parish Council and will shape how the parish changes in the coming years. The plan was adopted in March 2018 and a full copy can be accessed here 

Health & Wellbeing Project 

 

The Council has committed funding in its 2018/19 and 2019/20 budget to help fund a Health Co-ordinator to work on this social prescribing project in conjunction with Kernow Clinical Commissioning Group and local surgeries and organisations.  The project is in the very early stages at present, check back here soon for more details.

As part of the project the Parish Council has helped to set up a new 'pop up cafe' for monthly lunches in Devoran Village Hall, more details can be found here.

Feock Parish Local Transport Scheme

 

The scheme provides an efficient, effective and affordable local transport scheme for residents of the Parish,  it is lift service where our volunteers (for a small donation) will come and pick up residents to take them to places such as the local Doctors, Dentist, Hairdressers, Spar shop, Trelissick Gardens or pick up and deliver prescriptions.

Improvements to Carnon Downs Park & new Recreation Area

 

As part of the new Taylor Wimpey Pengelly Meadows development on Bissoe Road a new recreation area will be created to the left of the entranceway to the development.

 

There will also be funding from the development under the Section 106 agreement to make improvements to the play equipment in the existing children’s park at Park an Gwarry just up the road.

Traffic Issues in the Parish

 

The Parish Council are currently investigating traffic issues in the Parish and are compiling a list of comments from residents for discussion with Cormac as to how these can be resolved. 

 

A dedicated page has been set up to keep residents up to date with the work that is being carried out on these projects so please check back here regularly for updates.
