The Parish Council were delighted to be able to fund this project with Devoran School and the Grow Nature Seed Fund. Pictured in today's West Briton are two of our Councillors, Phil Allen and Barrie Thomas planting trees in the new garden area that Devoran School Gardening club will continue to plant and help maintain. We are looking forward to seeing the bulbs and wildflowers emerge over the next few months.
A planning application has been received by the Parish Council for consultee comment for the detailed design of 14 dwellings on land off Quenchwell Road in Carnon Downs. The proposals provide a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses. Of these, 50% (7 homes) are affordable rented and shared ownership.
