New flower planters for Forth Coth, Carnon Downs

Today two flower planters are being installed on the wide section of pavement on Forth Coth, Carnon Downs, outside of the Dentist practice.

The aim of the planters is to keep a walk way on the pavement clear for all pedestrians, especially those with buggies, wheelchairs or mobility scooters. We have had a number of complaints from residents about cars frequently parking fully in the middle of the pavement or double parking on the pavement and blocking it for pedestrians.

We hope the new flower planters will help to resolve this problem and ensure that pedestrians are able to use the pavement safely.
