"Lazy Creeks and an Ancient Fort"

The final walk of our series starts in close proximity to an ancient Celtic fort. You will journey through a truly wonderful area, which is a delight for those of all ages blessed with an imagination. 

​

The majority of the walk is on land administered by the National Trust. The walk has many wide paths and stretches of field paths. The optional woodland section can be very muddy.

​

Approximate walk time:  1 to 1.5 hours

"Lazy creeks and an Ancient Fort" starts at Roundwood Quay Car Park, visiting  Channals Creek, the King Harry Ferry, Lamouth Creek and The Old Lodge before returning to the start. Directions are found in our Leaflet.
