Queen Elizabeth II 1926 - 2022

Feock Parish Council is deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday 8th September 2022. Her life has been dedicated to her role as Head of State and she has performed her duties with a wisdom and poise which is the envy of many around the world.

She was the longest reigning British monarch who devoted her life to public service throughout her reign and has fulfilled her duties with dignity.

Her Majesty was patron to a wide range of charities and dedicated time and energy to enriching the lives of many people. She has provided a role model on how to conduct oneself in public and was an inspiration to others who negotiate this turbulent world.

She was loved and admired by the British people and her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country. Her Majesty's influence will continue to be felt long after her passing and we would like to add our tributes to her and her legacy. May she rest in peace.

Cllr Anne Allen, Chair of Feock Parish Council
