Greenbank Road pedestrian safety proposal

The Parish Council, following a meeting with Cormac have discussed the possibility of a ‘virtual’ pavement (please see photo for an example), this is a strip of different coloured tarmac which would run the whole length of Greenbank Road, Devoran, from the end of the pavement at the A39 end along to the pavement at the bottom of Market Street. Letters will be distributed to residents on Greenbank Road shortly regarding the meeting.

The Parish Council would like to get residents views on this proposal before asking Cornwall Council to carry out this work, and would therefore invite interested residents to come along to the next Access & Amenities Committee meeting which is being held at 7pm on Thursday 14th April in the Parish Council Offices in Market Street.

If the Parish Council ask Cornwall Council to install the virtual pavement they would also carry out a consultation with all residents who would be directly affected.

If you have a comment to make but are unable to attend the meeting please let Debra Roberts, Parish Clerk know your views either by email debra@feockparishcouncil.co.uk or by phone 01872 863333.
