The Parish Council is delighted to announce that the following groups have been awarded funding for this year and that they have been able to support all the groups that applied. The quality of all the applications submitted was excellent and there were over 300 voting slips submitted.

Unfortunately the big slide in Devoran park is currently closed as the handles at the top require some repairs and have been removed, please keep off the slide for the time being. It is in the process of being repaired so should be up and running again soon.

The stretch of road from Elm Grove to Lambrook House is planned to be closed between 10th and 21st June for the installation of sewer and water pipes. The one way system will be suspended for the period of the closure and there will be 3 way traffic lights.

Two dog poo bags and a nappy are amongst the waste plastic retrieved by Cllr Allen on his early season clean up of the Parish Council's land at Carnon Yard. Fewer bags of rubbish than last year but still a disappointing haul for this beautiful area.  Please pick up your rubbish and look after our beautiful parish!

After 2 years as Chair of the Parish Council, Devoran Councillor, Caroline Johnson stepped down from her role as Chair at the Annual Parish Council Meeting held on Tuesday this week.  Thanks were given to Caroline for all her hard work since she became a Councillor 6 years ago and during the last 2 years as Chair.
