New water refill point to be installed at Point Quay

The Parish Council are pleased to be working with South West Water on the installation of a water refill point at Point Quay which will be installed in due course. South West Water have issued the below press release today in relation to National Refill Day tomorrow. As part of the award-winning ReFill campaign, South West Water is taking further steps to make tap water more freely available, helping to reduce litter from single-use plastic bottles and keep people healthy and hydrated when out and about. The Parish Council is delighted to announce that the following groups have been awarded funding for this year and that they have been able to support all the groups that applied. Slide closed for repairs in Devoran park

Unfortunately the big slide in Devoran park is currently closed as the handles at the top require some repairs and have been removed, please keep off the slide for the time being. It is in the process of being repaired so should be up and running again soon. Thank you

Road closure in Feock, 10th to 21st June

The stretch of road from Elm Grove to Lambrook House is planned to be closed between 10th and 21st June for the installation of sewer and water pipes. The one way system will be suspended for the period of the closure and there will be 3 way traffic lights. Plastic waste collected at Carnon Yard

Two dog poo bags and a nappy are amongst the waste plastic retrieved by Cllr Allen on his early season clean up of the Parish Council's land at Carnon Yard. Fewer bags of rubbish than last year but still a disappointing haul for this beautiful area. Please pick up your rubbish and look after our beautiful parish!
