At the Annual Parish Council Meeting last night, Cllr Caroline Johnson from Devoran Ward was elected as the Chair of the Parish Council for the next year and Cllr Rob Andrew was re-elected as the Vice Chair of the Council. The various Committees and working groups were also re-elected and details of which councillors sit on which committees can be found on our Councillors pages.
Voting for the Your choice funding is now open! Votes can be cast online on this page, or on paper voting slips which you can print off from the website or pick up from the Parish Council Office in the community library. The deadline for voting is 5pm on Monday 29th May. All 10 groups who have applied for funding this year came along to the Electors Meeting last night (15th May) and gave presentations on their projects that they have applied for funding for. The presentations will be available to view on the website shortly. Two of our Parish Councillors will very soon be receiving the necessary training to take forward the Community Speedwatch programme we are hoping to introduce in the parish.
