As part of the Community Connect wellbeing project, the Parish Council is looking to facilitate the bringing together
of people and offering new opportunities for people to want to get out and about. Not only is this good for
our wellbeing but there are lots of things going on and many interesting things to see on our doorstep.
There are lunch clubs at Carnon Downs, Feock and most recently Devoran offering an opportunity for convivial
meeting with friends and neighbours. The Feock Transport Scheme (booking line 07904 547822) can be used to
bring residents who do not have transport to these lunches so people do not need to feel excluded by lack of a car.
As part of the project the Parish Council has helped to set up a new 'pop up cafe' called Meet & Eat for monthly lunches in Devoran Village Hall which are held on the first Wednesday of the month, more details can be found below. Thank you to The Old Quay Inn who are kindly donating fresh bread rolls for each pop up cafe to go with the home made soup made by our volunteers. If you'd like to volunteer to help out at a lunch please get in touch on 01872 863333 or email email@example.com
